My first ever char was called Flamin' Peanut. When i typed it, my friend said, 'You SURE you wanna be called that?'

My first character was named Scorpio The Mighty because i had just got done playing Mortal Kombat. Scorpion The Mighty didnt sound right, so we made it scorpio. Now almost all my characters have Scorpio in them, all except my monk.

Siren Everlight she's a monk - sounded right to me.
Shandris Moonfire she was my ranger, but I deleted her.
Miyako Ashida she was my asssassin, Canthan, Asian etc. etc. deleted too.
Reno Truesight (Formerly Aldos) my new ranger, saw the haircut for Canthan males - looked like Reno from FF7, so I gave him that name.
Alana Whispersong Just a made up name for my mesmer - seemed fitting.
Anthis Everlight Thinking of a warrior name - but decided to use the same surname as my monk.
The Bible On Dvd was rolling a monk and decided to make it something funny - went for something about religion and now it's my PvP name.

Hadrian Stinger[R/Mo]: Becuase I live in NE England and I instantly thought of Hadrian's Wall. Plus the bows ("That's gonna leave a sting..."). I honestly wasn't aware of the Green bow at the time
Sigmund Beckett[E/Mo]: Erm, I thought of Sigmund Freud and Sam Beckett (from Quantum Leap) at the time
All my Canthan have Japanese names to fit the setting (Ryuichi Amano, my A/Me; Doctor Kunio Yagami, my N/Rt; Susumu Horai, my Me/W)
My Dervish, Onuris Hapu was named via an Egyptian name generator
All my PvP char are name Fuyutsuki as a last name. You should see peeps trying to talk to and about me in AB local chat!

My first one was Silhouette Eyes, beacuse one my favorite songs is titled Silhouette, and in the song they say "silhouette lies" So i thought it would be cool to make it silhouette eyes. It's still my favorite character name out of all of them.

All my guys, except 1 are named after characters from a book or tv. It's because I lack the imagination to make up names myself. The one exception is my Canthan born necro, for him I looked up funny Oriental sounding names.

Giga Strike: came up with this name about 5 years ago when digimon was popular. the two words that make up my name were commonly used on the show and sounded cool so i used them. as much as i hate to admit it my name was inspired by digimon. (but it still sounds cool

Ashley Soulripper: my bro came up with it cause we thought he was going to use the character at first. he likes the sound of it.

Shaka the Zulu King: based off a real person i found out about in my history book. had a big spear and sheild which made him look like a paragon.

Uhh.. mine don't really mean anything, but I will make up a bunch of random crap for your amusement.

Ultimate Gaara - What can I say, I am a geek and I love Sabaku No Gaara, not as much as Deidara but he had not quite been added into the manga yet... so yeah, nice little factoid for you.

Super Priestor - This one actually does have a story, my brother was playing Xenogears and the priest Bill's robot has a cape and when he moves it totally flys in the wind and he would say "He's a super priest, super priest, he's super priesting yeah!" Heh, kinda sad seeing how this was only two years ago. So I named this character after that.

Ultimate Temari - What can I say.... I love team Gaara. Much like Temari this character (Ranger) attacks using wind and wind related accessories.

Uncool Fool - What else is there to say, it defines the guy playing the character.

Anyways, I never really put thought into my character's names so yeah... enjoy that random crap I just wrote.

I have Ruling in all my pve names...because I used to be called ruling (Actually Rulnig, because of a typo once on 1 forum, stuck with me) on trading card game boards..because I was a judge..dealing with rulings on the game.

My pvp slot is "Watchout I Grief" because I like to irritate people by bringing crappy builds into RA and Alliance battles.

Jayge... well. I took "jager" and mutilated it (german for hunter). for my last name, i used the "elven name generator". the link of which was lost to me when i lost my first and only hard drive that i ever loved *cries*. anyway, i'll post it if i find it. Arcamenel (my ranger secondary name) came from "Maeglin Arcamenel", which was my "elvin name". I use maeglin as my pet's name now :-)

Alrighty...To explain this I need to explain the origin of my PvP character name, Relambrien Divino.

It was summer of '05, just a few months after release. My guild was running Air Spike in GvG, and I wanted to come along, so they let me. I made up the build they gave me (which was really pathetic, now that I think about it) and couldn't decide on a name. So I was like...Hmm...maybe something from a foreign language wouldn't be taken. So I head to AltaVista-->BabelFish and translate "Divine Lightning" (reference to the air spike) into Spanish, which was my favorite foreign language at the time. I get "Relámpago Divino," but decide it doesn't sound like a very good name. So I change "Relámpago" to "Relambrien," (rih-LAM-bree-in) and decide "Relambrien Divino" fits me just fine.

So with that out of the way...

Relambrien Divino - See above. I use it for any class now.
Relambrien Of Light - A Monk PvP-character, what better suffix than "Of Light?"
Divine Relambrien - needed another PvP name.
Relambrina Divina - Female PvP name, play on the original.
Relambrien Sureshot - Ranger, so it fits.
Relambrien Goes Nec - self-explanatory
The Big Six Hundred - my former 600 spirit bond monk. Self-explanatory.
Rokujyuuyon Shou - Japanese for something along the lines of "64 Strikes." Naruto reference.
Malocles Hender - VERY old name, involving Spanish. "Malo" meaning evil, the Greek suffix "-cles" and the word "Hender," Spanish for "to cut." The strange part is this was an Elementalist.
Uchiha Relambrien - Another Naruto reference.
Relambrien Vocis - Vocis is Latin for voice, this is my Paragon.
Strange Zanpakutou - reference to the show Bleach, where people wield swords called Zanpakutou. This was an axe warrior, hence a strange zanpakutou.
Hakkeshou Kaiten - Naruto reference, something along the lines of "Divine Whirl". Someone took this name since I last used it

In short, my name says "I put either way too much thought into my character names or way too little."
